A Cluster-Tree-Based Secure Routing Protocol Using Dragonfly Algorithm (DA) in the Internet of Things (IoT) for Smart Agriculture

The Internet of Things defines a global and comprehensive network whose task is to monitor control the physical world by collecting, processing, analyzing data sensed IoT devices. This has succeeded in various areas, one its most important applications smart agriculture because there are many demands for producing high-quality foodstuff world. These need new production schemes area. In IoT, communication security essential due extensive heterogeneity this paper, cluster-tree-based secure routing approach using dragonfly algorithm (CTSRD) proposed IoT. scheme presents distributed lightweight trust mechanism called weighted (W-Trust). W-Trust reduces value corresponding malicious nodes based on penalty coefficient isolate node network. Furthermore, it improves honest devices reward coefficient. Additionally, CTSRD introduces trust-based clustering process T-Clustering. process, cluster head (CHs) selected among nodes. Finally, establishes tree (DA) between CHs. DA-Tree. To evaluate quality tree, fitness function provided CTSRD. DA-Tree finds secure, stable, optimal balance consumed energy boost lifetime. compared with EEMSR E-BEENISH regard lifetime, energy, packet delivery rate. comparison shows that our can uniformly distribute consumption However, slightly lower rate than EEMSR.
